On Thursday, 29 August 2024, the Mini-Symposium on International Tax Policy took place in Amsterdam.

The event was organised by University of Amsterdam (UvA) in collaboration the Advanced LL.M. Tax Alumni Association,

During the afternoon conference, UvA Tax LLM Alumni Fernanda Moura, Nupur Gupta, Ludovico Carpanetto, and Mattia Calabrese discussed with keynote speakers Prof. Maarten Floris de Wilde and Tiago Cassiano Neves hot topics in international tax law such as Pillar 2 and Special Tax Regimes for Individuals.

Ass. Prof. Giorgio Beretta, also an UvA Tax LL.M Alumni, moderated one of the panels at the conference.

The conference event followed the graduation ceremony and preceded the traditional dinner at Dam Square.

It was a great opportunity for old and new students of the University of Amsterdam Advanced LL.M. in International Taxation to meet and have fun together!

The conference event represented the 2^nd Annual Meeting of the Advanced LL.M, Tax Alumni Association.
